Lucy Taylor is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and Accredited Nutritionist (AN) who is self-employed in her business, Bloom Nutrition and Diet Solutions. She specialises in plant-based/vegan nutrition and is available for consultations at her Fitzroy and Ripponlea offices.
Lucy aligns with the vegan philosophy on animal rights, sustainability and compassionate grounds, and is a passionate advocate of whole food plant-based (WFPB) diets for optimal health and wellbeing. Lucy works closely with a network of likeminded medical practitioners in Melbourne to improve health outcomes for patients with chronic conditions (such as Type 2 Diabetes and heart disease) through plant-based nutrition.
Lucy loves to cook and has recently released a collection of her favourite plant-based recipes in an eBook format which is available for purchase through her website. Lucy maintains a blog (bloomnutritionist.com) providing evidence-based nutrition advice and is currently working on a second eBook on the fundamentals of plant-based nutrition.
Lucy lives in Melbourne with her two house rabbits (Peanut and Wellington) and stays fit and healthy through yoga, contemporary dance, bushwalking and sprint training (and her healthy diet, of course!).
